The countdown starts right now. In about just one month, the Indy 500 will celebrate its 100th birthday. An event just interrupted by the two World Wars, and a name that brings the best and the worst out of auto racing: Celebration, drama, innovation, hope, disappointment, dreams, happiness and sorrows. Like a life’s mirror.
1911 is far away. So far away… We just can touch it stretching the memories. The stories have piled up over the decades, and in this space we will share -through the next month, some notes, facts and moments under the shadows of those legendary names who have given the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the flavor and character of a true myth.
Like all –or most of the things we do at Media Racing, these shared memories will have some “Spanglish” accents. Some texts and/or videos will be in Spanish, others, in English, but in between languages we know there is just one theme: A passion with no limits and a space just for the senses.
